For the past 15 years, the Area has supplied tools to support operative decisions and the formulation of advantageous policies in the sphere of the Third Sector in all of its various forms: volunteer work, social promotion, social cooperation, social enterprises. From the realisation of quantitative surveys to the fine-tuning of management tools for promoting subsidiarity, the Area is active in the fields of consultancy, evaluation and training.
Our approach is primarily interdisciplinary, and the repertory of analysis tools (economic, company, organisational, training) is very varied.
The area is made up of two teams who work together in synergy, covering both research activities and consultancy interventions with Nonprofit and Public administrations. Both teams make use of the expertise and consultancy of Italian and foreign economists, company organisation experts, sociologists and political experts.
