Research
IRS performs studies and researches in the Social, socio-sanitary and Health spheres for and in collaboration with Ministries, Local Entities, Local Health Services, companies, private and third sector organisations. Our research regards both the study of the processes of change within the institutional, normative scenario as well as specific spheres of social intervention, emerging demands, strategies for meeting needs. Interdisciplinary research methods are integrated with activities regarding the redefinition of policies and interventions, as well as the sustaining of social actors and institutions in the policy and decision-making processes. Research is developed using quantitative tools (surveys, customer satisfaction) and qualitative ones (focus groups, in depth interviews, etc.) which allow for a complete analysis of the phenomena and the problems being investigated.
