Training
We aim to strengthen competencies through technical and methodological contributions, in order to develop planning and managerial competencies and new areas of organisational expertise. IRS, together with Managers and teams from the local social planning offices, has recently been working on basic services (home-care for the elderly and minors, basic social services, child care departments, young offenders care department, family care centres, family centres, youth centers and neighbourhood social workers), to whom IRS offers professional supervision. IRS together with Politecnico di Milano has been promoting since 2005 a Master in Social Planning aimed at rising the level of competences in social planning, targeted policies, methods and tools for the management and evaluation of social policies, between managers involved in Social Policies at local and regional level.
