The Area covers different expertises and different activities ranging from research, evaluation, consultancy and training in the field of labour market trends and policies, industrial relations and industrial policies at local, national and European level.
The Area has a long standing experience in the processing and analysis of labour market data, for the construction of composite indicators comparable at the territorial level and over time, and the conduction of surveys.
The most significant findings are published in various books and scientific journals. The members of this Area are involved in many European networks and take part in national and international meetings, conferences and workshops.
